I really had high hopes for this book. I heard so many good reviews and everyone told me I just Had to read this book. One of my co workers gave me the book after she was done reading it. I dove right into it.
It begins with Rachel on the train and she sees the same couple every time she drives by this one house (which turns out used to be z couple houses down the street where she used to live with her ex husband). She makes up a whole story about them until one day something is wrong. We learn a bunch of things about Rachel that she lives with her friend and has been lying to her about losing her job. She keeps calling her ex husband in a drunken stupor. Her ex is married with a baby. The new wife repeatedly calls the cops on Rachel because she wont leave them alone. There is a murder at the house that she watched from the train and Rachel feels that she can solve the mystery but her drunken, foggy memories keep getting the better of her.
I wont ruin anything but the ending was sort of a surprise but I wasn't really surprised. This was a good book, but not a great one. I don't think I would recommend. I only recommend 5 Stars. Sorry.
