This was a pretty good book. It wasn't your typical vampire love story. The two main characters are best friends and both females. They have a secret that is slowly slipping through the cracks and ending up in right in the middle of high school gossip. Their lives are at stake. One of the best friends is half human half vampire and it is her duty as a guardian to protect her vampire best friend for life. Read the interesting events that intertwine in their little vampire academy.

I forgot how much I loved these books. I read this short story a couple years after reading the series. I miss Dmitri and Rose. This short - very short - story is from Dimitri's point of view. They are on the hunt for Rose and Lissa. This is the first scene where Dimitri and Rose meet. Rose doesn't realize it, but Dimitri finds her wild and exciting and will not underestimate her. I loved it! I think I might read the series again!

Frostbite - Book 2

Now I know why these books are international best sellers. I could not stop reading. I don't know why the book was called Frostbite, but who cares. The pictures that flowed through my head when reading and the emotions I felt for the characters was crazy. I teared up at the end. Very dramatic. Love conflicts and status barriers. Love it!!I would like to see this series into a movie!

Shadow Kiss - Book 3

Absolutely Marvelous! This book, which is the third, was even better than the first two books combined. I can't believe how awesome it began and ended. There was even a battle scene in this book which had me hanging onto every word. The love scenes melted my heart and I even almost cried at the heartbreak at the end. I need to buy the next book!

Blood Promise - Book 4

I can't believe how action packed these books are. Also filled with , love, sadness, happiness and sexual tension. Blood Promise showed a determined Rose sought out to find her love turned Strigoi. She finds him alright. Finds more than him after he captures her. She then becomes this drug addicted Rose that we never thought we would see. It wasn't drugs though, it was a bite she was hooked on . The battle between Her and Dimitri- physically, mentally and emotionally - was something I could never get over. It was amazing. NEED TO READ THE NEXT ONE!

Spirit Bound - Book 5

These books just keep getting better and better. There was not one dull moment in this book!! Rose finds out there is a way to turn Strigoi to human and needs Lissa's assistance. They also need to break Victor out of prison. Something they never thought they would ever do! Dimitri is on revenge mode, needed to attack Rose, hunting her down. Adian is amazing in this book. The things he would do for Rose. Aw! I wont say what happens after that but the ending of the book took me and everyone in the book by surprise. I couldn't believe what happened. Read to find out. Ended in a cliffy so now I must start the next one.. RIGHT AWAY! Amazing book!

Last Sacrifice - Book 6

Where to start? This was an amazing series! One of the best that I've read, besides Twilight. This book wasn't my favourite but it still was amazing. There was so much drama and action involved. The grand escape and trying to figure out who the murderer was! In the end love always conquers all, but sometimes it takes baby steps to get there. One thing I don't like about this book was that there were so many characters (that was fine) but the author didn't elaborate what happened to them. She just.. left them. Other than that, It was the best!

Homecoming - Book 6.5

This book is based after Last Sacrifice. Rose and Dimitri go back to his home town to show his family that he is alive and well. He missed them so much. An Alchemist by the name of Henry shows up and tells them that there is an old and evil Strigoi king that needs to be killed since he was killing innocent humans. Of course Rose and Dimitri go to the rescue. I love them together. This story didn't do any justice, but it was still a good story.
